Reasons for not posting....

So once again I have not posted on here in a fairly long while...but as always I do have some pretty valid excuses for not...so let's start it off here...

1.Provincial Math exam=well somewhat better than expected. I did some pretty hard core studying for it starting about a week/5 days before. Still haven't found out what my mark on that is yet...hmmm...I should do that...
2. English exam=easy just a lot of writing.
3. Piano exam today=totally shoulda practiced more during the year. Technique was brutal beyond words. The rest of it was semi-ok. We'll find out when the mark comes back to me in about a month or so...they always take so stinkin long with it. oh well such is life I guess.
4.Crappy weather=lack of motivation for some reason.
5.Grass cutting. Between downpours, at least 4 different people need to have their grass cut. And you basically only have a day to get it all done. Not to mention other yard work type stuff.
6.Grad. I GRADUATE IN 6 DAYS!!!YOU KNOW HOW CRAZY THAT IS???? Ok I'm done with the yelling for now...but ya. Grad is in 6 days so things are getting worked upon for that (ie cleaning house, getting things organized for when people get here, etc. ) Oh and Natasha's grad is in between along with Deborah, Aaron, and Josh's grad last weekend...good time good times...to say the least...shooting fireworks at people, boys tossing people into the pool oohhh boy. Fun times. oh and the girls tenting party at AJ's. That was fun.. "wed-ding..." safer not to ask about that one...So ya that is pretty much my life in the last while so happy graduation to all you grads out there reading this. Oh and one more piece of exciting news....I HAVE A JOB!!!so I'll be working out at Kilman's for much of the summer. So this could very well be the last post for awhile...But ya. It'll be a good summer at least that's what I think. So until next time watch out for llamas!

Canada: An American's Perspective...

Welcome to Canada, it's the Maple Leaf State.Canada, oh Canada it's great! The people are nice and they speak French too.If you don't like it, man, you sniff glue. The Great White North, their kilts are plaid,Hosers take off, it's not half bad.I want to be where yaks can run free,Where Royal Mounties can arrest me.Let's go to Canada, let's leave today,Canada, oh, Canada, I Sil Vous Plait. They've got trees, and mooses, and sled dogs,Lots of lumber, and lumberjacks, and logs!We all think it's kind of a drag,That you have to go there to get milk in a bag. They say "eh?" instead of "what?" or "duh?"That's the mighty power of Canada.I want to be where lemmings run into the sea,Where the marmosets can attack me.Let's go to Canada, let's leave today,Canada, oh, Canada, I Sil Vous Plait. Please, please, explain to me,How this all has come to be,We forgot to mention something here.Did we say that William Shatner is a native citizen? And Slurpees made from venison,That's deer.Let's go to Canada, let's leave today,Canada, oh, Canada, I Sil Vous Plait.

Lately

So lately life has been pretty busy. Hence the lack of blogging and the slight lack of motivation to blog...but nonetheless. Last weekend we went camping for youth group as a year end finale type idea. It was some good times. None of the trailer type stuff. It's all about the tents. The girls definitely made better time setting up our tent than the boys. haha. And we worked on our stone-skipping technique. My record is now 5 skips. wOOt. Oh and did I mention that this campsite was pretty much in the boonies? And that day I started out not feeling really great. Not quite sick but not great. That in between spot is alamost as bad as actually being sick. And the night before I'd had a pity party. I've decided that pity parties are only meant to be between yourself and God and I don't really like them too much. But ya. So then on Saturday we went canoeing. Me, Stacy and Tiff were in one canoe. It started out pretty good, then we started to get into some waves. We were a lttle freaked at first but then we gt into it and Stacy yelled "POW!" every time we hit one head on. I found it rather humourous. Then we started thinking about what people on shore would think if they saw 3 people canoeing and heard "POW!" every time a wave hit...Then we packed up camp and headed into Clear Lake to be "tourists" and wander around in the tourist traps. I ended up just walking around with some of the guys and Caylyn. So ya. That was camping. Oh and we stayed up till about 2 AM and then got up at like 7:30 so you got it, a whole 5.5 hours of sleep. Fun...so ya that was part of the weekend...Another time I'll tell about the Medieval Party that took up the rest of the weekend. So toodaloo!
