Dangerous

That's my new goal of the new year. I want to become dangerous. On Sunday the sermon was on becoming dangerous for God. Live life passionately and dangerously. It also dawned on me during that time that the safest place to be is definitely NOT in God's arms. I mean it makes sense when you think about it. God is completely sovereign. He can do what he likes. "Safe, 'course he isn't safe, but he's good. He's the king I tell you."~The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. That I'm finding describes God. While it doesn't completely sum up who God actually is (I don't think there's any word out there today that could...) it does a good job of describing who He actually is. Anyways...my new goal is to become dangerous for God. Take a little risk every now and then because on any given day, I tend to leave too many risks left untaken. That is my challenge to all: become dangerous. Take some risk. Live life to the fullest. (almost an overused cliche...) Let's get out and further the kingdom of God!

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

New Year's Party

Yup twas a good new year's party. First me, Tiff, Justin, and Brenden went to Yorkton to pick up Megan and then we had lunch and hung out in Wal-Mart for a couple hours. If ever you need to find somebody in Wal-Mart, play Marco Polo....teehee...It works sometimes especially if the people you're looking for are actually in the store....Then after Yorkton we went to April's for their party. Played some Poker and some Spoons. H'ray Poker is starting to make sense to me now.wOOt! But I still can't see it's so much fun. Schmeh. Then me and Tiff had to leave. At the senior high party people were just beginning to play that game where you tie a balloon around your ankle and pop other people's while guarding your own. After that we played Gotcha, Gorgone (wOOt) and Hunt the Bear. Good times. Except I literally ran full tilt into Kurt during Hunt the Bear and my nose still hurts from it. Oh well. Had to get hurt sometime....But ya it was fun anyway. Then we made little skits/songs up for a "variety show" type idea. And well ya. I'll just say it was interesting...We also had a praise&worship to bring in the new year. After midnight it was basically just movies and video games and board games. I pretty much stayed in the sanctuary all night watching the Swiss Family Robinson, Hoodwinked, and part of Cars. I'm saddened that we didn't finish it. About 2 am I think Eric and Rachel made KD for an energy boost or something of the sort. So ya. It was fun. Then I slept most of New Year's Day-until suppertime cuz we had company...But ya. That was my New Year's. Better than I expected and definitely fun. Well that's all for now.
