Perfectly Ok
So I was thinking just now about the phrase being perfectly ok. Can you (2 minute power outage there...) even be perfectly ok? Cuz if you're just ok it's obviously not perfect and if you're perfect than you can't really be ok. It's kinda opposite...But anywho.
So Subway is just dandy. Although I'm not too keen on staying up till 3:30 am doing dishes....That is just NOT fun at all. But at least it's mindless....Other than that, it's ok I guess. It's money, which brings me closer to being able to go to school. And yet it's not bad, cuz when I think of some people, they started out waiting on tables and sooner or later ended up doing hard core missionary work all over the world. (aka Philip in the book of Acts) He started out in chapter 6 by waiting on tables with the Greek and Hebrew widows. Then by the end of chapter 8 I believe he was being carried around by the Holy Spirit. So that has been reassuring to me over the last while. I find that I'm often wanting the big things in life RIGHT NOW, rather than just using the time God has given be and just knowing that He can use me no matter where I am or what the circumstances are. True contentment in your circumstances is actually pretty hard to find at times, even though we all like to think we have it so good in Canada and what not. True contentment comes from knowing Jesus and knowing that He loves you no matter where you are in life. So in the words of Paul, "Rejoice in the LORD always; I will say it again REJOICE!"
Till next time,
