A Nothing Sort of Day

Slept in due to staying up late (even though I should be going to bed earlier since I have to wake up earlier this week for work...oops). But it was and still is super hot outside and I wasn't ambitious enough to do anything other than what I had to do which was laundry and dishes...yup. So ya. I get to start another job later on this month with nannying 2 boys so that should be good. All kinds of things happened last week that I wanted to do but couldn't do all of them due to work or other things going on. Fun times. but ya. I got to help a friend out with her small group on the weekend and that was a fun time. Then Sunday evening after church I convinced some friends to check out My Favorite Ice-Cream Shoppe. Fantastic. Too bad it's a little bit farther away from where I live though. Or maybe that's a good thing since I'm pretty sure I would go there a lot more often...I've been working at detangling a ball of yarn that somehow got to be in a lot of a mess.Sometimes I think I'm getting somewhere with it and then something happens and it feels like I'm starting all over again... :( That makes me feel like I need a life...I made egg noodles last week since I had egg yolks to use up. I think I would make them somewhat smaller next time though. And use a pizza cutter to make them more even than a regular knife...So ya. Oh and I discovered a place to download free piano sheet music. :) That made me happy...Free is good. Speaking of which, we had a clothing exchange at our house on the weekend. I may have come out with more clothes than what I put in... but it was good. Semi disorganized and chaoticish but it was good. About 10 people came out which I would say is not a bad number for a first time around. So ya. That's my life. Also Ultimate has started. woot woot. Have I ever mentioned I love this sport? Cuz I do...Minus not being particularly good at throwingi long distances and therefore not always feeling like a useful team member...:( But hey it's a good time and good exercise which I could always use more of anyway...I can catch the frisbee just fine and I can throw short distances but not long...One day though I will be able to throw the length of the field we play in...It keeps going on. Internet world is lazy and real life adventures are more fun when they happen and blogging about them takes energy that I don't always want to exert...hence the seeming sporadic posts...but hopefully I'll still be able to have the energy/motivation/desire to keep up with it at least once a week or so. Odds and Ends

It's an odds and ends kind of day. Starting something and finishing it without feeling like it's really finished, playing some piano here, reading there, cleaning up ish. Was supposed to hang out with some friends this afternoon but neither were feeling well so that got cancelled, so hanging out with other people tonight. I was lazy for the last 2 days ish so now it's a slow catch up from that I guess? Ya. It's one of those kind of days...
