Lately

So lately life has been pretty busy. Hence the lack of blogging and the slight lack of motivation to blog...but nonetheless. Last weekend we went camping for youth group as a year end finale type idea. It was some good times. None of the trailer type stuff. It's all about the tents. The girls definitely made better time setting up our tent than the boys. haha. And we worked on our stone-skipping technique. My record is now 5 skips. wOOt. Oh and did I mention that this campsite was pretty much in the boonies? And that day I started out not feeling really great. Not quite sick but not great. That in between spot is alamost as bad as actually being sick. And the night before I'd had a pity party. I've decided that pity parties are only meant to be between yourself and God and I don't really like them too much. But ya. So then on Saturday we went canoeing. Me, Stacy and Tiff were in one canoe. It started out pretty good, then we started to get into some waves. We were a lttle freaked at first but then we gt into it and Stacy yelled "POW!" every time we hit one head on. I found it rather humourous. Then we started thinking about what people on shore would think if they saw 3 people canoeing and heard "POW!" every time a wave hit...Then we packed up camp and headed into Clear Lake to be "tourists" and wander around in the tourist traps. I ended up just walking around with some of the guys and Caylyn. So ya. That was camping. Oh and we stayed up till about 2 AM and then got up at like 7:30 so you got it, a whole 5.5 hours of sleep. Fun...so ya that was part of the weekend...Another time I'll tell about the Medieval Party that took up the rest of the weekend. So toodaloo!
