Weekend Adventuring
So this weekend was pretty exciting. I actually got to get out of town for a couple days. Friday myself, mom, and dad went to Regina to pick Twi up from the airport. We hoteled it too. I don't think I like sleeping in hotels. It's not that I'm afraid of the cleanliness of the sheets I'm sleeping in or whatever but there's just something about sleeping in your own bed that makes dreamland so much better y'know. Saturday we went shopping. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I spent like over $100 worth in clothes. It's plain ridiculous how much clothes cost these days. But I was short on slightly more decent than what I have clothes. Unfortunately I can't wear jeans and hoodies for the rest of my life. Rats. Oh well I guess I'll survive somehow. What a pity it is to have to grow up. But ya. It was good hanging out with my sister for once. Then I had to work. Which was pathetic since it was sooo dead. I think we might have gotten maybe like 20 people the whole night. yup. Sunday was church. oh oh RACHEL HAD HER BABY!!! A beautiful baby boy named Micah John. So exciting. and Kurt came home. wOOt. It's been quite a while since I've seen Kurt so I was actually pretty happy to see him and talk to him for about 2 minutes....then I went out for lunch with Twi and we had ate breakfasty type food and chatted some more, mostly just catching up on life. After gettng home Tiff informed me of the plan to go to Y-town with the Langenburg crew, whom I hadn't hung out with in a very long time and go swimming/hang out at Justin's. So ya. Went swimming, I actually did a couple laps just to make sure I could still do front crawl. haha. I think I'm still a bit stiff from it though. I'm out of shape when it comes to swimming, I know that now...You always think you can do things but then when you go to do them you realize that nope you sure can't. People just make it look so easy. haha. After swimming we went and hung out at Justin's and ate supper, oh and we picked up dessert at DQ on a spurt of randomness. And played on his wii. I like wiis, you don't actually have to be good at it and it's fun. Although I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty pathetic. Ended in last place almost every time. It was great. So ya. That was my weekend. Lots of good times. Hanging out with people I haven't seen in a while and catching up was really good. One of the better weekends I've had in a while. But now I must be getting to bed since I have to work in the morning. ugh. I've almost forgotten what sleeping in is...but anyways. G'night all.

In the circle of friends we share this prayer
That we'll gather together no matter
How the Highway bends
I will not lose this Circle of friends
