Snow in Spring

There's something kinda dreary about waking up on a Spring day, looking out your window...and realizing that instead of brownish grey grass, there is snow outside. Yup. That's what I woke up to this morning. It just kinda set my day off in the wrong direction and I just wasn't feeling really happy or anything. Just down and depressed. Which is odd since I don't usually have feelings that "go with the weather." It's just started happening this year. I don't get it. Oh well. But then later on the snow melted which helped the day out a bit. Then things cleared up somewhat more. So ya. It's kinda pathetic when all you can talk about is the stupid weather...I haven't really done anything too exciting lately. Oh wait. I babysat yesterday in Inglis. That was interesting. We looked after 6 babies. Goodness. And I got my criminal record check done and have discovered I'm not a criminal. H'ray! No surprises since I haven't exactly had a run in with the law ever....And I sent my child abuse self check thing in. so we shall see how that goes. It's crazy how much stuff you have to do just to work with kids when you're over 18. Gosh. Back in Grade 6 or something all y9u did was take the Babysitter's course and away you went. Sometimes you didn't have to worry about that. I started in the sitting thing before I took the course. Now you need all kinds of stuff to make sure the parent's kid is gonna be safe with you. It's kinda ridiculous but oh well. It kinda makes sense I spose. It's just annoying to fill out the darn forms but what the heck. Such is life. Well I should be getting to bed. We're going to Regina tomorrow and I have stuff to do before we go and only not very long in the day to do it all in. Although I don't know if I'll have the gumption or the want to get er done since it's my first day off since last Saturday. ugh. But some of it at least has to get done so here's hoping.
